Disclaimer

Natural Knows is an independent natural-health publisher. This page sets out, plainly, what our content is — educational information from a team of natural-living practitioners — and what it is not: personal medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Important

Nothing on Natural Knows is medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before acting on anything you read here.

The short version

What you need to know before reading further.

  • Our articles, eBooks, guides and digital products are general education, not personal medical, mental-health, nutritional, pharmaceutical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
  • Reading the site or buying a product does not create a doctor-patient, practitioner-client, or professional relationship with Natural Knows or any of our contributors.
  • Herbs, essential oils and supplements are powerful — they can interact with medications, conditions, pregnancy, breastfeeding and children's biology. Always check with a qualified professional first.
  • Some product and brand links are affiliate links. We treat them as editorial picks. The price you pay never goes up.
  • We use AI tools to help with editing, formatting and research. Every article is shaped, reviewed and signed off by a human editor before publication.
  • If you spot a factual error, tell us — we'll fix it.
01

What Natural Knows is for

Natural Knows publishes general educational content on natural health and wellness — across thirteen categories including herbal remedies, essential oils, alternative therapies, natural detox & cleansing, natural mental health, mindfulness & meditation, nutrition & wellness, natural pediatric health, natural skincare, natural sleep health, natural supplements, and natural women's health.

Our work is intended to help readers learn about traditional and contemporary approaches to natural living, understand what's actually researched, and ask better questions of the qualified professionals who care for them. It is not designed to replace those professionals.

02

Not medical or professional advice

Nothing on Natural Knows — articles, eBooks, guides, planners, comments, newsletters, videos, or any other content — constitutes medical, mental-health, nutritional, pharmaceutical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Our content is for general information and education only.

The information we publish:

  • Is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, condition, or symptom.
  • Has not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any equivalent regulator.
  • Is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified physician, nurse, pharmacist, licensed mental-health professional, registered dietitian, herbalist, naturopath, or other licensed healthcare provider.

Reading the site, opening an account, buying a product, or contacting us does not create a doctor-patient, practitioner-client, therapist-client, or other professional relationship with Natural Knows, its owners, editors, or contributors.

If you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to your nearest emergency department immediately. Do not delay seeking professional care because of something you read on Natural Knows.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any treatment, medication, supplement, diet, exercise routine, sleep regimen, or other element of your health practice — particularly if you have a diagnosed condition, are taking prescription or over-the-counter medication, or are managing the health of another person.

03

Herbs, essential oils & supplements — safety notes

"Natural" does not automatically mean "safe for everyone, in every dose, with every medication." Plants, herbs, essential oils, mushrooms, tinctures, teas and supplements are biologically active. They can:

  • Interact with prescription and over-the-counter medications.
  • Affect the absorption or effectiveness of other treatments.
  • Cause allergic reactions, skin reactions, or sensitisation.
  • Be contraindicated for certain medical conditions (cardiovascular, renal, hepatic, endocrine, autoimmune, oncology and many others).
  • Be unsafe at doses, durations, or combinations that look fine on paper.

Essential oils specifically must be used with appropriate dilution, application method, and storage. Many are not safe undiluted on skin. Some are not safe for diffusion around pets or children. Some are photosensitising. If you are not sure how to use a given oil or herb safely, do not use it on the basis of an article alone — consult a qualified clinical herbalist, certified aromatherapist, integrative physician, or pharmacist.

04

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, children & special populations

If you are pregnant, trying to conceive, breastfeeding, immunocompromised, managing a chronic condition, taking multiple medications, recovering from surgery, undergoing oncology treatment, or making decisions on behalf of a child or an older adult, the safety calculus for any natural remedy, supplement, essential oil, dietary change, or wellness protocol changes.

Do not apply general guidance from Natural Knows — including content in our Natural Pediatric Health and Natural Women's Health categories — to these situations without the involvement of a qualified healthcare provider who knows your full history. Caregivers are responsible for evaluating any practice they consider for someone in their care.

05

Individual results vary — testimonials & case stories

Where Natural Knows publishes testimonials, success stories, case examples, reader letters, or first-person accounts (our team's or readers'), they are individual experiences only. They are not representative, are not guaranteed, are not a promise of similar results, and should not be interpreted as evidence of efficacy for any condition.

People differ — biology, baseline health, medication, environment, adherence and many other factors all shape outcomes. What helped one person may have no effect, or a different effect, for another.

06

Affiliate & recommended-products disclosure

Natural Knows participates in affiliate and referral programs with retailers, brands, and service providers across the natural-health space — including supplements, essential oils, herbal brands, books, courses, and wellness tools. When we link out to a third-party product or service that we recommend, the link is often an affiliate link, and we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through it.

The price you pay does not change because of this. Your commission is paid by the retailer out of their margin, not added to your bill.

We treat these links as editorial picks, not paid placements. The product has to earn the recommendation first — through team testing, professional knowledge of the category, or transparent review of the brand. We do not accept sponsored content that overrides editorial judgement, and we don't recommend things we wouldn't use or trust ourselves.

FTC compliance. This disclosure is made in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, 16 CFR Part 255. Where individual articles contain affiliate links, additional in-article disclosure is also provided.

Natural Knows may also display third-party advertising (for example, through Google AdSense). Those advertisers and their cookies are governed by their own policies — see our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

07

Pricing & product-information accuracy

Prices, availability, ingredient lists, formulations, packaging, brand names and country-of-origin details for third-party products mentioned on Natural Knows can change without notice. We do our best to keep recommendations current, but you should verify the current specification, price, and availability on the retailer's own website before purchasing.

For our own digital products, the price shown at checkout is the price you pay (plus any applicable taxes calculated at checkout). Product-page details — format, scope, intended audience, page count — are the binding description of what you are buying.

08

External links

Articles on Natural Knows link to outside sources — research papers, retailers, brand pages, professional bodies, news organisations, and other publishers — to give readers a path to verify and dig deeper. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, policies, products, pricing, security, or business practices. A link is not an endorsement of every page or product on the destination site. Following an outside link is at your own risk and on the terms of the destination site.

09

Use of AI tools in our editorial process

Natural Knows uses AI tools to assist with research synthesis, drafting, copy-editing, formatting, image work, and other production tasks. We do not publish unreviewed machine-generated text as if it were written from scratch by a human.

Every article and product on the site is:

  • Scoped by a human editor with subject knowledge in the relevant category.
  • Reviewed, fact-checked, and adjusted for accuracy, safety language, and tone before publication.
  • The responsibility of Natural Knows as the publisher — regardless of which tools were used in production.

AI tools change quickly; our internal standards on how we use them are updated as the tooling and best-practice guidance evolves.

10

Errors, omissions & corrections

We work hard to be accurate. We're also a publisher producing hundreds of articles across thirteen specialised categories — errors, omissions, outdated references, broken links and typos do happen, and the underlying research in many natural-health areas continues to evolve.

Natural Knows makes no warranty or representation, express or implied, that the content on the site is complete, accurate, current, reliable, fit for any particular purpose, or free from error. Content reflects the state of knowledge of the contributing editor at the time of writing. If you spot a factual error, an unsafe recommendation, an out-of-date study citation, or a broken link, email hello@naturalknows.com and we'll review and correct it promptly.

11

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Natural Knows, its owners, officers, contributors, editors, agents and affiliates accept no liability for any loss, injury, illness, adverse reaction, damage, expense, or other harm — direct or indirect, foreseeable or unforeseeable — arising from your use of, reliance on, or action taken on the basis of any content, recommendation, product, or third-party link on this site.

You assume full responsibility for any decision you make about your own health, the health of those in your care, or anything else, based on information you read on Natural Knows. The general liability cap and dispute terms set out in our Terms of Service apply.
